OK, I found a piece of software that will join all the audio book files and then re split them to 5 minute segments. I can live with this. Then I set the lg8300 to play mp3s and that is working just fine.
Now here comes the hard part. If I leave the playback on pause, it eats up battery life. If I shut down the playback, and return to playing back, I have to either start from the beginning of the book or find the track I was listening to when I shut down.
Is there some option to remember the last track listened to after stopping the mp3 player and then restarting.
