Pentium is on a distinguished road

Default Verizon V325i and bitpim

I have had limited success. I have Motorola Phone Tools and a genuine Motorola cable. I use it to make sure the port is sync'd.

I set bitpim to a Motorola V3C. I can update my phone book and my wallpaper. I can't update my ringers yet. I'd LOVE that, but it doesn't. They say the Motorola phones have it blocked. I'd also like to load some games on one of them, but that doesn't work either.

Sometimes the phone and the "modem port" connection just get lost. I don't know why. You end up doing power cycles on the phone, using phone tools to reset the port, etc. I also find getting the phone # (it's a bitpim button) helps.

Oh well, at least I can get camera pics off of it and put my own wallpaper on, and it's a decent interface to maintain my phone book.
