Formatting a memory card - Samsung SCH-u740
This procedure will erase all data on your card. It is recommended that you have a recent backup of your data; unless you are willing to lose it.

1. From the main screen, press OK to choose Menu.
2. Select Settings & Tools then press OK.
3. Select Memory then press OK.
4. Select Card Memory then press OK.
5. Press the right soft key to choose Options.
6. Select Format Card then press OK.
7. When prompted, select Yes then press OK to confirm you want to format the card.
