I've been able to transfer music via the usb cable with MS Media player 11 by turning on the phones sync mode. No luck yet getting my ringtones into the phone. Bitpim does not seem to recognize this phone (yet?). Very frustrating. I have read elsewhere that Big Brother Verizon saw fit to disable the Samsung PC Studio 3. They clearly want to try to force their customers to buy ringtones rather than having the freedom to put their own files in THEIR phones!
