I haven't heard of anything that can copy contacts between two different operators.

You might want to contact Samsung if they provide something that can copy contacts from one Samsung phone to another Samsung phone, if you are getting another Samsung.

Once you have Verizon phone, you'll never have to enter contacts manually again when you update your phone. Either the store can do that for you. Or, you can sign up for free contacts backup (over the air, done for free).

Thanks so much, that's the answer I thought I would get.

btw it is a downloadable software, I'm presuming by Samsung, I don't have the link anymore...pretty sure it's at their website tho, it is copyright to them...I don't like to download anything that looks/sounds fishy. It's basically a backup program for your contacts. To put a (nother useless) file (I might add, lol) on your computer.

(Update, while I was typing this I decided I should search for the link...it IS from Samsung (samsung.com) and it's called Samsung Contacts Copier version 1.1.0.0 for my model type sph-a920) I'm NOT sure if it's available for other Samsung models, I would hope so. I found out about it in my user manual.
