One warning though. It will most likely invalidate your warranty if Verizon found out you were messing with it so you are on your own if something goes wrong. Unless you are familiar with this type of software, I wouldn't mess with it.

When using BitPim it is always a good thing to save your phone files first. That being said, generally if you are "adding" a file and are careful in highlighting the correct folder you cannot damage anything. I use drag and drop into the appropriate folders for all my ringtones and wallpapers, approaching 400 of each. There is no way for Verizon to determine how those ringtones or wallpapers got placed into the folders. Should you inadvertently delete a needed file and have not saved the files prior to tinkering, put on your best poker face and go to the Verizon store and with a straight face claim it simply stopped working. BitPim leaves no trail.
