Visual Voice Mail Warnings
Visual Voice Mail warns you about Voice Mail system and application events.
You Have Expiring Messages
Visual Voice Mail holds messages in the Inbox until they are designated for deletion by the Voice Mail system. To retain messages, use the Archive option to save them to your phone or memory card. (You may also restart the expiration counter by exiting Visual Voice Mail and dialing *86. Listen to the message and press 9 to save the message.)
Upgrade Required/Available
Visual Voice Mail informs you if a new version of the application is available when you launch Visual Voice Mail. If an upgrade is required, you will not be able to log in until you download the upgrade and Visual Voice Mail will offer you an opportunity to download the required upgrade each time you launch the application. If the upgrade is optional you may choose to download the upgrade at a later time by using Check for Update in the Preferences Options.
Delivery Failed to Recipients
If the voice mail server does not send your Forwarded or Composed Visual Voice Mail message to a recipient (for example, if the recipient does not have a Verizon Wireless telephone number), you will receive a Delivery Failed to Recipient(s) alert or a Delivery Status Notice (DSN).
- If you receive an alert, Visual Voice Mail will then display a list of the recipient(s) that did not receive your message.

- You can clear or correct the phone number(s) or try and resend and press OK to return to the Forward or Compose Voice Mail screens.

- From there you can Send the original message, Review your message and select Options to change the Priority or Sensitivity of the message.

If you receive the DSN, that indicates a system generated message by the Voice Mail system denoting that your message could not be delivered to a desired recipient.
Messages that Cannot be Played through Visual Voice
Mail Faxes and certain system messages cannot be played through the Visual Voice Mail application.
- These messages are identified with a label in the Inbox.

- When you press play Visual Voice Mail instructs you to dial *86 to access the message.
