I remember this feature on older phones and I'm not sure any of the new phones have them anymore. It beeps after the initial miss, but it doesn't continue to beep until the phone is picked up or opened. It keep the display of missed call on screen (and an icon that shows something was missed) but it doesn't continue to beep.
