I'll update this one with some of the newer phones.

Moto SLVR L7c

I've seen various operating system issues, powering issues and display problems with this phone. Moto strikes again!

V3m

I don't think I've ever seen one with a white water damage indicator! They break easily, are slow, and just plain aren't good phones!

K1m

Far more durable, but same old operating issues. Slooooooow.

VX8500 (Original Chocolate)

Go handle one. Nuff said. My sister has one and while on a 45 minute drive, she managed to call me 3 times accidentally. STELLAR!

This is one major reason why I've never been a bar and/or slider phone fan.

Interestingly, I was in Korea recently and Korea being the major CDMA player and where majority of the cool CDMA phones come from, I was surprised that their new trend is all slider phone. You can't even find any new clamshell phones anymore.

To lock and unlock every single time you use the phone is quite a hassle.

I used to have the Nokia bar phone (long long ago, before Verizon even existed) and yes, I had to lock it every time and I didn't like it. That was the last bar phone I had, and I quickly switched to the clamshell phones and have had only clamshells ever since.

The phone automatically locks when it's slid closed, however all you need to do to unlock it is press ANY side key. That's fairly simple to do on accident.

Ironically, her phone just had a screen short yesterday. The phone is fully functional, but the screen is blank white. I'll have to take it to the local techs when she comes back into town Monday. BLAH!
