Enabling / disabling Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) - BlackBerry Tour 9630
  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu button.
  2. Select Options then press in on the trackball.
  3. Select Memory then press in on the trackball.
  4. Select the current setting in the Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) field then press in on the trackball.
  5. Select the desired setting then press in on the trackball. On Enables MTP Mode. Must be set for Mass Storage Mode to function. Off Disables MTP mode
  6. Select the current setting in the Mass Storage Mode Support field then press in on the trackball.
  7. Select the desired setting then press in on the trackball. On Enables Mass Storage Mode. Device functions as a normal mass storage device. Off Disables Mass Storage Mode. Must be set for V CAST Music | Rhapsody to connect and sync with a PC.
  8. Select the current setting in the Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected field then press in on the trackball.
  9. Select the desired setting then press in on the trackball. Yes Enables Mass Storage Mode
    Prompt Prompts for Mass Storage Mode when connected No Disables Mass Storage Mode
  10. Press the Menu button, select Save then press in on the trackball.
