Disabling / enabling Venturi Client - Windows
The Venturi Client is compression software that works with your connection software (e.g. VZAccess Manager) to improve your data throughput performance when accessing the Internet over a wireless connection. If you have an issue accessing web pages, try temporarily disabling the Venturi Client.
If Venturi is enabled, there will be a purple V in the Windows system tray.

If Venturi is disabled, there will be a transparent V or in the Windows system tray.

Disabling / enabling the VZAccess integrated Venturi Client
  1. From the Windows desktop, locate and double-click the VZAccess Manager icon.
Alternatively, you may click Start > Programs (All Programs) > VZAccess Manager.
  2. From the top menu, click Tools > Preferences.
  3. Adjust settings as desired then click OK.
    • To disable Venturi Client, uncheck Compress and accelerate WWAN connections.
    • To enable Venturi Client, check Compress and accelerate WWAN connections.
  4. Close any open browser windows. Open a new browser window and reload the Web page.
If disabling the Venturi Client resolves the issue, it is recommended to uninstall and reinstall Venturi Client.
