Unlimited Texting Plans??

Hello.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if Verizon plans to have an Unlimited Texting rate for their existing customers.


I know they have the America's Premium Choice plan that offers unlimited texting, but since I'm putting myself through college, I definitely can not afford this option. I just pay my share of the family plan which is very affordable to me ($15/month). Also, I've been with Verizon for over 3 years, so I'm on a month to month!

I know that TMobile, AT&T, and pretty much every other carrier have reasonable rates for Unlimited Text to Any Network, and am wondering if Verizon will do this in the near future.

I much prefer texting than calling people... since I'm in class for about 10 hours a day.

Any help and information is much appreciated!

Verizon does offer unlimited text messaging plan but it does cost more than what you are currently paying.

If you want to remain on the family plan, then your whole family has to sign up for the unlimited texting plan, which is like $99 for 2 lines and 700 total minutes.

Darn! So there is no way to just tack it on to our current plan.

I hope they come out with a plan like the other carriers do soon. Even SPRINT is coming out with one!
