1. Download the desired picture from the Internet or use a picture you already have on your PC.
2. Browse to where the picture resides on your hard drive (Probably the “My Pictures” folder).
3. Right-click on the picture and select “Open With” then “Paint”
4. Click the “Select” tool
5. Holding down your “left-click”, drag the Select tool to outline the desired area. (See dotted line in image) If the entire picture is the desired area, skip to step 9
6. Right-click inside the outlined area and select “Cut”
7. Click “New” from the Paint menu, select “No” to save original.
8. Right-click in the white area of the new picture and select “Paste”
9. In the Paint menu, go to Image and select “Attributes”
10. Using a calculator, divide the desired width and height by the attributes. In the case of the Dare, the desired width and height are 240 and 400 respectively. Hence, 240/1080 = 22.3 and 400/891 = 44.8. I will round these up to 23 and 45.
11. Next, go to Image on your Paint menu and select “Stretch/Skew” and enter the numbers from step 10.
12. Next, click Image in your Paint menu and select “Attributes” again. At this point, the attributes should be very close to the desired resolution. Just change the attributes to 240 and 400.
13. “File”, “Save”
