ok I dont have an ipod so I dont know this but my girlfriend has i-tunes and she wants to put the songs she has on her itunes on her lg env however when I put songs on my env it was easy cuz all my downloaded songs on my computer are mp3 format the vcast music manager found it and I sync'd my phone and it put the songs on my phone. so my question is what do I have to do to get her itunes songs on her phone do I have to convert them to
mp3 first then vcast music manager program will recognize it and be able to put it on her phone?

oh and I dont know if thats the exact name of the program u get on that cd but anyway. oh and she also has a micro sd card already in the phone so i just need to know what to do to get the songs from itunes to the program so i can sync the phone to get the songs on her phone.

The Apple itunes and iPods use a different music format called aac (or aacPlus) but you'll notice that they have a different extensions. Supposedly, aac encoding is more advanced than MP3 so the same song can be compressed to a smaller size. Also, itunes songs have some kind of DRM (Digital Rights Managements) where only the owner of that song can play.

I've not seen anybody been able to play itune songs on enV yet. I'd be interested to know if someone figures it out.

ok well she had a verizon store worker tell her but shes not computer friendly so she didnt remember so I guess I will have to go to a verizon store and ask
