Inserting the battery

1. Remove the stylus.
2. Securely holding the phone with the display facing away, gently pull the cover open from the gap at the top of the phone.
   
3. Align the battery contacts with the contacts inside the battery compartment. Insert the contact side of the battery first then gently push the battery into place.
   
4. Replace battery cover, align the two tabs located on the back cover with the two openings on the lower part of the back of the phone then gently press the sides and the top of the back cover into place. The back cover will click into place.
5. Replace the stylus.

Removing the battery

1. Press and hold the Power button.
   
2. Touch Power Off.
   
3. Remove the stylus.
4. Securely holding the phone with the display facing away, gently pull the cover open from the gap at the top of the phone.
   
5. Lift out the battery from the groove at the top end of the battery.
