How to lock / unlock LG Chocolate 3

Locking and unlocking the wireless device - LG Chocolate 3 (VX8560)
The Phone Lock feature, helps prevent unauthorized use of the device by disabling outbound data and voice calls. The device will still be able to receive phone calls and place emergency calls to 9-1-1.
To unlock the keys for the external screen:

• Press the unlock key.
  

To lock the phone:

1. From the main screen, press OK to choose Menu.
   
2. Select Settings & Tools then press OK.
   
3. Select Phone Settings then press OK.
   
4. Select Security then press OK.
   
5. Enter the Phone Lock Code.
   The default lock code is the last 4-digits of the mobile number.
   
6. Select Lock Phone Now then press OK.
   
   To enable / disable the phone lock when the device is powered on:
   1. Select Phone Lock then press OK.
      
   2. Set the desired option then press OK. Unlock The phone is never locked (lock mode can be used) On Power Up The phone is locked when it is turned on

To unlock the phone:

1. Press the right soft key to choose Unlock.
   
2. Enter the Phone Lock Code
   The default lock code is the last 4-digits of the mobile number.
