LG Chocolate 3- Should I Get?

Hi,

I'm new here and the reason I registered is so that I can ask a question. Yesterday I went to Verizon to look at the Chocolate 3. I have a Chocolate 2, and my contract is not yet up, so should I get it? I'll get the black Chocolate 3. Should I get it, go for another phone, or just wait until my contract is up?

I'd recommend it.

It's a lot different from the Chocolate 2 though.

What kind of phones are you looking at? Flip, slide, etc.?

I like it really depends on what kind of phone you like. If you had chosen Chocolate 2 for music reason, then chocolate 3 has all that and more. But, if you had chosen Chocolate 2 for the bar type, obviously Chocolate 3 is a flip so it's not the same.

Personally, I like the LG Dare but some people don't like the touchscreen and it's a big complicated to get used to all the features.

my mom gets her chocolate three tomorrow and i can let u know wat i think then but i have the dare and i love it the battery will last a whole three days but i had it for only 2 months and the speaker that lets u hear the people on the phone blew so i wouldnt recommend it till they get all the kinks worked out

I basically chose the Chocolate 3 for music reasons because before I had a pre-paid phone that had no music player, and that's what I wanted out of a phone. I broke the screen on my Chocolate II about a month ago and had to get a replacement on July 4th. That's why I want the flip-up Chocolate.

Same story as mine. I switched over from Virgin Mobile (love the service, the phones just suck).

Bad news. I logged onto my Verizon account and looked for the Chocolate 3, and it wasn't there! Why can't I upgrade? Oh, well.

The online doesn't always show all the available phones to upgrade. You may want to try going into the store.
