How to lock and unlock LG Dare

Locking and unlocking the wireless device - LG Dare (VX9700)
The Phone Lock feature, helps prevent unauthorized use of the device by disabling outbound data and voice calls. The device will still be able to receive phone calls and place emergency calls to 9-1-1.
To lock the phone:

1. From the main screen, touch Menu.
   
2. Touch Settings & Tools.
   
3. Touch Phone Settings.
   
4. Touch Security.
   
5. Enter the Lock Code (the default code is the last 4 digits of the cell phone number).
   
6. Touch Lock Phone Now to immediately lock the phone.
   For other lock options, touch Phone Lock then touch the desired setting:
   • Unlocked
   • On Power Up
   

To unlock the phone:

1. From the main screen, touch Unlock.
   
2. When prompted to Enter Phone Lock Code, enter the 4-digit lock code (the default code is the last 4 digits of the cell phone number).
