How Dare they steal my Dare!!!

So as I approched my 30th day using the dare I was in love with the phone! I had to return my very first one because it had a bug and would not hold any info. So I got it replaced and my second one was perfict. This past weekend I was at work showing the phone to some coworkers in our lunch room, I got up to wash my hands and when I came back my dare was gone! Wtf!!! So instead of freaking out I ran over to our dept computer and used verizons chap parent I was able to locate my phone as it was leaving the buiilding!!! Needless to say I was pissed! So I called verizon to see if they could do anything and the guy I talked to was useless! (Sorry man if your reading this but you didn't help me at all) he said that because I just had one replaced that they couldn't do anything about it. He said I could try to put in a claim but he doesn't think I could get anywhere. So yesterday I went to my local vzw store and they were happy to help but said the same thing? So now I'm back using my second fav, my bb curve. I found out today that it was the guys the fill our vending machines! The have 2 people on camera! Can you say I'm pressing charges!!!!

They must really like that phone to want to steal it.

Why couldn't VZW use the chaperone service to track where the phone is? That's the beauty of having the embedded GPS and the cellular service.

I guess this "controversial" commercial makes more sense now.

As far as the chap parent goes once the phone is off or the battery is pulled your agps position is lost. It really sucks but I now know not to leave anything sitting around. The thing I don't get is there were other people at the table and no one saw him grab it?

Whoever was looking at your phone should be responsible for making sure the phone is returned back to you.

Since you said the culprits were caught on video tape, maybe you can get your phone back.

If Michigan Mobile presses charges, would the phone get tied up as evidence???

In an number of jurisdictions once it is established that the personal property in question was in fact stolen and subsequently recovered the property may be returned to the rightful owner prior to the trial of the suspect. The evidentiary value is in the paper trail.

After a long long long wait i recieved a brand new dare last week! and today im now active! My job actully pressed charges on the contract vending company workers who stole my phone. I guess a few other things came up missing also! ok Im happy again!
