How to use handwriting recognition on LG Dare

Using handwriting recognition - LG Dare (VX9700)

Text can be entered by using a fingertip. The Touch Screen interprets fingertip movements into characters.

From a text field, touch the writing icon.
Touch the handwriting icon.
Touch the desired setting. Handwriting-Screen: Gives a larger writing area Cursive-Writing: Interprets looping movements
Enter the desired text using a fingertip then touch Done.

The following tables show how the Touch Screen interprets fingertip movements into characters:
