Mobile TV on Telus, when Verizon?

Doing some poking about I came across the following links that seem to substantiate the rumor that the Verizon LG Dare may in fact have the prerequisite Flo chipset to support VCast TV, if enabled.

So what's the hold up with Verizon?

Very interesting. It sounds like they probably used the same chipset on LG Dare and LG Voyager, so LG Dare can technically support TV but they haven't enabled it yet. I'm guessing too much software bug to sort through before launching their first touchscreen phone for Verizon.
