How to format a memory card on LG Decoy

Formatting a memory card - LG Decoy (VX8610)
This procedure will erase all data on your card. It is recommended that you have a recent backup of your data; unless you are willing to lose it.

1. From the main screen, press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose Menu.
   
2. Select Settings & Tools then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
   
3. Select Memory then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
   
4. Select Card Memory then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
   
5. Press the right soft key to choose Format.
   
6. When prompted, enter the 4-digit lock code.
   The default code is the last 4-digits of the mobile number.
   
7. Select Yes then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
   

The memory card will have the following folder structure:

• my_music
• my_flix
• my_pix
• my_sounds
