Default Venus Phone Issue (Music Playing)

Hi everyone. I just bought a new LG Venus with my christmas money and havent had problems until just recently, one that I cant fix. I dont know if this is happening to anyone else, but when I click either Play All Songs or click Songs and click play on any song, the entire phone reboots. This is really annoying considering its one of the few reasons I got the phone in the first place. Can anyone explain what is wrong, or how to fix it? Verizon never responded to my many emails.

P.S. If I search the selection on the songs you can buy, those songs will play, just not the ones i synced to the phone with WMP 11.

Sounds like a major problem. I think you should take the phone back to Verizon. Either get a new replacement or they may have a software update to take care of that problem.

new phone... SAME PROBLEM

i tried everything, i even tried using wma files instead, i dont know what i am doing wrong, i tried using another computer, i tried copying files over, i tried syncing them using WMP 10 and 100, and VCAST music manager

this is what i am doing, i install everything (correctly), i plug in my venus to a usb, go on V Cast Music Manager, click on any song, click copy to phones playlist, it shows that its on the phone, i go on my phone and reboot it, go to my music, hit the song, hit play, BAM!!!!!!!!! Reboot, crashed.

Is it only a coincedence? Can 2 phones have the exact same random problem? should i go for a different phone? if so, please suggest the best phone besides chocolate or voyager (i am looking to put music on it and put cool music as ringtones, should i use a juke?)

its ridiculous that i pay 250$ for the phone and it doesnt even work right, its pretty much a scam -_-

BTW: verizon suggested the same thing you did, about getting a new phone, woot!

QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! COULD IT POSSIBLY BE THAT IM STORING THEM ON MY PHONE? SHOULD I USE A SANDISK CARD?

Hang in there. It should work. I use my LG VX8600 to hold my music (both on phone and on SD card) and used the music essential kit to transfer the songs and I've never had any issue.

Since you still have a new phone, you can certainly try a bunch of other phones first 30 days. If it's Venus that you like, you gotta find a way to get it to work. I would take my problem to Verizon until they solve it.

If all else fails and you want a music phone, then Samsung Juke may be the answer.

Since phone memory is pretty small, I hold all my songs on the card.

Try the new software update, also your problem is most likely a bad music file, It does it on PC's, it will do it to your phone. Try just syncing 1 music file at a time, then go to the next. If your having the same issue with a new phone it probably not the phone. Try formatting the microsd card too, or even try another card...the card could be bad.

Good Luck!
