Can the Venus be Locked all the time?

I wanted to have the Venus lock itself every time I close it, but I read through the manual and it seems that I have to manually lock it everytime. Is there a way around this? I live with someone who likes to be nosey and get into my phone, and if I have to manually lock it I know I'll forget sometimes.
