just dial *#06# and you can see a 15 digit code.This works for all the phones, not just LG

This is the IMEI of your phone. It stand for International Mobile Equipment Identity
In this number, note the 7th and 8th digit. In this example its '01'

The best quality phones have a code of '00'
The good qulaity phones have a code of '01' or '10' manufactured in finland.
The phones which have a code of '02' or '20' are the phones of low manufacturing quality,made in emirates.
