I HAVE A NEW lG 8300 AS OF XMAS. I TRIED THE CODE CHANGE..... MENU + 0 AND CODE 000000, THEN I SELECTED MUSIC SETTINGS. RECIEVED "NOT AVAILABLE". WHAT DO I NEED TO GET MP3 WORKING. ALSO TRYING TO BUILD RINGTONES FROM CD'S. I UNDERSTAND HOW TO CONVERT CD TO THE FORMAT I NEED USING WAVEPAD, HOW DO I GET THESE SAMPLES I CREATE LOADED ONTO MY PHONE? WHAT IS NEEDED?I AM NEW AT THIS SO BE EASY ON ME. THANKS

Are you not able to get MP3 to play?

In order to get your ringtones to your phone, there are several ways.

If you have USB cable, you can use a program like bitpim to copy from your computer to your phone.

Or, if you have a bluetooth enabled PC or a laptop, you can use bluetooth to transfer the files to your phone.

Or, if you have an external memory, you can copy the ringtones to your memory from your PC, then put the memory in your phone, and select the ringtones from your memory.

If you don't have any of the above, you could send yourself the e-mail with the ringtone attachment, and save it. (It will cost you $0.25?? to receive an e-mail on your phone)
