Formatting a memory card - LG Chocolate (VX8550)
This procedure will erase all data on your card. It is recommended that you have a recent backup of your data; unless you are willing to lose it.

1. With the handset open and from the main screen, press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose Menu.
2. Select Settings & Tools then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
3. Select Memory then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
4. Select Card Memory then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
5. Press the right soft key to choose Options.
6. Select Format Card then enter the Lock Code for the device.
   The default code is the last 4-digits of the mobile number.
7. Select Yes then press OK.
