unlock code faux pas...

Is it possible to unlock my new LX8550..I was reading the manual and decided to change the default code which was the last 4 digits of my phone number. I thought I'd changed it to different set of 4 numbers.

Now either I typed it in wrong, or neither the correct new number or the original default one will unlock the phone when i start it up....

Geez i hope this is a relatively easy fix...I feel like a total pinhead

Any informative suggestions would be appreciated
