Put video files onto Microcard

I just got my 9400 a couple of weeks ago with a 2GB memory card. I am able to load pictures onto the card just fine and they work on the phone. How do I get my own videos onto the phone? I can place any file on the memory card but then it doesn't show up on the phone. Is there a certain format they have to be in?

When you put the blank sd card into the phone, it will create bunch of folders on the SD card (e.g. music, video, picture, etc.) and you have to put the right files in the right place for the phone to recognize them.

I know that the video needs to be in the my flix folder which is where I have placed some but when I put the sd card back in my phone only the videos I took with my phone show up. Is there a specific format the videos need to be in before I put them on my memory card?

Probably the same format as the video you took with the phone.
