Locking and unlocking the wireless device - Motorola Rapture VU30
The Phone Lock feature, helps prevent unauthorized use of the device by disabling outbound data and voice calls. The device will still be able to receive phone calls and place emergency calls to 9-1-1.
To lock the phone:

1. From the main screen, press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose Menu.
2. Select Settings & Tools thenpress the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
3. Select Phone Settings thenpress the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
4. Select Security thenpress the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
5. Enter the Phone Lock Code.
   The default lock code is the last 4-digits of the mobile number.
6. Select Lock Phone Now thenpress the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
   To enable / disable the phone lock when the device is powered on:
   1. Select Phone Lock thenpress the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
   2. Set as desired thenpress the center of the 5-way navigation pad: Unlock The phone is never locked (lock mode can be used). On Power Up The phone is locked when it is turned on.

To unlock the phone:

1. Press the right soft key to choose Unlock.
2. Enter the Phone Lock Code
   The default lock code is the last 4-digits of the mobile number.
