Razr V3 and SD card help

My Brother wants to format his microSD card for his Motorola Razor V3 to put videos, music....

THe card is formated and we drag and droped the mp3 files in the my_music folder. When we got to the phone, none of the songs appeared. We pressed sync, but that wont work either. could you help? I looked everywhere on the web too but got nothing...

Also how do I putin videos?
