Default How to lock / unlock Motorola Rival

Locking / unlocking the wireless device - Motorola Rival (A455)
The Phone Lock feature, helps prevent unauthorized use of the device by disabling outbound data and voice calls. The device will still be able to receive phone calls and place emergency calls to 9-1-1.
To lock the phone:
  1. From the main screen, press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose MENU.
  2. Select Settings & Tools then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
  3. Select Phone Settings then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
  4. Select Security then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
  5. Select Yes then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
  6. Enter the Lock Code (default is the last 4 digits of the phone number) then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
  7. Select Lock Phone Now then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.

    To enable / disable phone locking on power up:
    1. Select Phone Lock Setting then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
    2. Set the desired option then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK. Unlocked The phone is never locked (lock mode can be used) On Power Up The phone is locked when it is turned on
To unlock the phone:
  1. Press the right soft key to choose Unlock.
  2. Enter the Phone Lock Code then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
    The default lock code is the last 4-digits of the mobile number.
