Default Played with an Adventure at Verizon

Hi All,

I went to Verizon Saturday and got a chance to play with the V750 Adventure. I don't like the rubber black key design, and the Talking Phone function (if you type fast) takes awhile to say letters and numbers. Overall, the phone is good.

What kind of phone do you have now and would you consider getting this phone next?

Default V750

I really like the V750. Waited quite a while for Verizon and Motorola to come out with a ruggedized product. Love the large speaker built into the bottom of the phone too. My only regret is that this phone is not water resistant. Verizon dropped the ball on that one. The extended battery life could be better in my opinion; however, the phone is connected to Bluetooth all day long, I have the screens on maximum brightness, and I make and receive numerous emails, calls, and texts. Verizon and Motorola are marketing this phone to businesses and could have worked a little harder to ensure longer battery life. I love the large screen inside and the outside screen is also plenty big. The screen size is why I chose this phone over the Boulder. It was a difficult choice because the Boulder has an excellent water resistance rating. I constantly use the WAP app for checking weather when rain is forecast as I work outside, getting directions, checking email, etc. The large screen makes this so much easier to see. I also like the video feature of the phone as on occasion I must email video to a supervisor.
In other words the phone gets used hard every day. I do not use the PTT feature as the company I work for currently uses Sprint/Nextel (trying to get them to switch but it is a huge company).
All in all I think that this is a great phone. If you want a phone that really works for you and is loaded with features then this is the phone to get.
