Yes you can register your self. I know when i signed up for my employee discount through my employer that automatically signed me up for that too.

I just signed up for the employee discount but no mention of merits program. I've been with Verizon for a pretty long time, going on 6-7 years.

When registering, it requires an account number. I have to look for my statement to get that..
