Default Check out a good place to get your Verizon Phone/Plan

If you are new to Verizon or switching from another carrier, you'll find that you get a much better deal from 3rd party than going straight to Verizon Store. That's because Verizon pays these 3rd party quite a bit of money for a new customer that they don't have to pay if a new customer walked into their store.

So, these 3rd party can use part of that "bonus money" to give a better deal to the new customers through a huge discount on the latest phones.

For example, Samsung i760 would normally cost the new subscriber $299 with a 2 year contract at the Verizon Store. Follow the link in my signature, and you'll be able to get the exact same phone for only $49.

It always helps to know these little tricks. Good luck.

New to Verizon.
Just got an LG enV for $10. Amazon.com has it on sale right now for $59.99 with $50 rebate. I went to the Verizon store, showed them that price and told them to match it. They did.
Happy shopping!
Cheers!

Default got a good deal, I think........

I wanted to port over the last of the Nextel accounts I had last weekend, did a little research on the 750 Adventure (for the PTT with my Boulder). It was $159.95 on Verizon's website with a $50 rebated bringing it to $109.l95, at the Store it was $169.95 after rebate $119.95 but on the the Net at various Agents as little as $19.95 with a 2 yr contract. So I printed those offers off and went to the closest Verizon Store where it took them all of 5 minutes to decide to drop the price of the phone $140.00 to $19.95. I thought that was a pretty good deal for me........
Adios, Nextel, Vaya con Diablo.............

These are great tips by the way. So, if you are new to Verizon and want to get the best deals on the new phone, bring a copy of an ad from other places.

I'm not sure if Verizon would do that for their existing customers.... I'm due for my New Every 2, but still waiting for the phone I really like - HTC Diamond or Touch Pro.
