Just received this phone. Followed the manual for recording voice dial options, but can't figure out how to activate a name to make the phone call out. I've spoken to two reps at Verizon Customer Support, they each spoke to tech support. No one knows how to do the actual voice dialing. They also can't find the number for the manufacturer. What to do?

I haven't used this phone before but I know this phone does support voice dialing. I've used other phones supporting voice dialing and it usually requires you to "train" your voice for each phone number. It looks like you've done this already but don't know how to initiate the voice dialing. On my Audiovox phone (this has the old user interface where it's all uniquely different, not like all the new Verizon phones that have the exact same menu) you hold the SEND button and it initiates voice dialing. Don't know if the same button will work on your phone but it's worth the try. Otherwise, try holding on to other buttons that will initiate voice dialing. There's gotta be a button somewhere.

# button locks the phone

To make a voice activated call press the send key for, what seems, a very long time. The phone will then ask you for the name. This assumes you have worked in Tools $ Settings to set the send key to do voice activated dialling - hope this helps.

thats a great tip, thank you. not too many people purchased this phone so not too many people have come back with problems. as a consequence i really am not familiar with this phone so any tips help a great deal
