In store if you buy the Q with the unlimited data plan for 44.99 a month you can get the 100 off instantly as well making the phone 199.99.

NOTE : if you are eligible for the 100 new every two credit you can not combine the discount with the 100 instant discount for starting broadband service. You can't combine the two to get the phone for 99.99.

I finally checked out this phone at the Verizon store. It's very thin, especially compared to the two Treos which were right to next to Q.

If only it had the touch screen, it would've been so cool.

There was an article that said Moto Q costs like ~$159 to manufacturer, in order to sell it for under $199. Maybe, they had to cut the corner of not offering the touch screen to get it to this price.

the idea was always to be without the touch screen to model after the blackberry devices. Anything that you can do on a treo besides spreadsheets, you can do faster on a blackberry because the jog dial lets you quickly do everything with one hand. It takes a few days to get used to but it really is a nice touch so moto decided to model it after those types
