Playlists on Samsung Gleam

Can I UpLoad play lists to the Gleam or.. Is there an easy way to add a song that "is playing" to a play list in the phone? I want to build a "my favorites" play list but have over 1000 songs in the phone so it would take forever to 'find' each favorite song and add it 'after' I decided it was.. a favorite.

Would be nice to upload the actual "playlist files" (along with the songs in the playlist) from Windows Media Player but I do not find a way to do this. I suppose the playlists are hidden in the internal memory in a place you can not add, edit or get to them except through the lame playlist editor in the phone. Ugh!

Seems The 'playlist feature' on the Gleam and perhaps other Samsung phones only exists because they need to have the playlist as a feature. The feature is essentially useless for my needs.
What are other's opinions on this issue?
