Gleam/Verizon Isses

I carried the RAZR VM3 before this and was totally upset that Verizon has banned the use of free-ringtones for some people. I sent a tone to myself at myxertones.com and the message came thru with no sound. My co-worker sitting next to me has an LG/Verizon and she did the same thing. Hers came to her fine and mine wouldn't. If Verizon is going to ban the use of these places they need to do it for everyone not just certain users.

I am looking for was to enable my phone to bypass the restrictions that verizon feels they should profit from. Any help here would be great. I found little on the web regarding this phone itself.

Yeah, it sucks that Verizon is finding ways to plug the hole in ways that people are getting the free ringtones, so they have to pay them instead. If sending the ringtone over the air doesn't work, you can always use the USB cable to transfer your own ringtones.

I have the samsung gleam since may 14th and i have been using http://myxer.com/ for quite some time and it works great, it could possibly be a setting in the ringtone you are trying to get.
