Angry Losing Contacts

I have had a gleam now for about 9 months...just after it came out. After the 2nd month or so, my contacts list just disappeared. I assumed I'd done something wrong, so went to the V store and they couldn't figure anything out, but suggested that I subscribe to their Backup Ass't, which i was happy to do, since i didn't want to lose the conacts again. THREE MORE TIMES this happened...and of course, i knew then that it WASNT ME...the list literally just disappears. EAch time i have to go to the V store and have them reinstall, as there is no way to "restore" a contact list from online and/or the B.A. itself.
The last time I went in, they gave me a new Gleam, saying it had to be a defect. Today, guess what...contacts gone again...all of a sudden..?!??!!! It's like they are there one min and not there the next...it's freaky. Is anyone else having this issue????

Wow, I've never heard of problem like that. I rely on my contacts all the time and if they get erased like that, I would go crazy. Exchange it for a different phone if both Gleams give you problems.

Default losing contacts and bluetooth

I've had 3 samsung gleams in 3 1/2 months (piece of junk in my opinion) lost the contacts twice and had the blue tooth burnout twice (would not stay connected to my Garmin GPS).

Made my 4th trip to verizon last week and told them I had no confidence in that brand or model anymore after the second loss of contact list. They told me my only option was to buy a new phone of a different make and model or take another gleam (probably refurbished), I boutgh a new phone but because I cannot afford to lose my buisness contacts for mo reason at all. I'm very upset with Verizon and will be changing phone companies when my contact expires, they should stand behind the products they sell when they are giving you lemons.

Sounds like Samsung Gleam losing contacts is not an isolated incident.
