I like this phone looks much better than the voyager

Now what I did not like is that to upgrade to that phone you also have to upgrade to their new nationwide plan which is $9.99 a month more what a rip off!1

Not that I'm cheap but come on!!

why would I want to pay about 120 bucks more a year??
just for web browsing when on top of those 120 bucks more a year they charge you for every damn MB you use.. (ohh yeah including the advertising)

So I decided not to upgrade to this phone and after looking at different websites and the reviews about this phone..
I was happy after all cause all of them are complaining about the touch screen response...

Anyway I did upgrade to a new phone just a few minutes ago and
my new phone now it's gonna be the Lg venus.

Couldn't find anything more decent. (at least from verizon)

I guess you'll have to update your avatar with the Venus instead of the VX8300 now.

I totally understand what you are feeling. I'm happy with all these new phones but not too happy about the plans they offer. I was pretty excited when they offered $20 for all data to certain smartphones but it's only limited to few and not open to all smartphones.

I just changed my avatar.

Yeah I got the venus in my hands since saturday noon.

I like it, I have to admit that more than anything else The looks of the phones kills my vx8300.

What I'm missing now from my vx8300 is the speakerphone feature.
It's louder than the venus.
and the camera's flash.
