How to format a memory card on Samsung Glyde

Formatting a memory card - Samsung Glyde (SCH-u940)
The Samsung Glyde (SCH-u940) uses a MicroSD card (up to 8GB capacity). Memory cards can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.

This procedure will erase all data on the card. It is recommended to have a recent backup of the data.

1. From the main screen, touch MENU.
2. Touch Settings & Tools.
3. Touch Memory.
4. Touch Card Memory.
5. Touch Options then touch Format Card.
6. Touch Yes.

The memory card will have the following folder structure:

• my_music
• my_flix
• my_pix
• my_sounds
