need help with basics on i760

I haven't found the answer to these questions in the user guides:

1. how do you dial one of your emergency numbers if your phone is password protected?

2. how do I set my phone to automatically disconnect from the Internet when I close Internet Explorer?

3. I downloaded three tracks to use as ringtones. They are in my ringtones folder, but how do I turn them into functioning ringtones? (I may have the wrong file type, but the file type extension isn't displayed, so I'm not sure).
