Using MMS on an i760

Each attempt to send a picture using MMS ends with 100% generating and 0% sending. It'll usually continue to attempt to send the message for about 30 seconds before prompting me with a Message Delivery Failed screen, asking me to try again.

Was there something I needed to do before using MMS?

Do you have a data plan? I know that you will often see this even with a text plan. NO DATA PLAN, NO MMS. That is how it was explained to me last year by tech support. You might want to contact them.
