Question From 700W to i760 or xv6800 ??

I need to change my phone. Absolutely needs to be WinMob 6 pro and verizon (i am grandfathered into a plan i dont dare give up).

Which phone ? These two are so close in their specs it seems that may simply be a choice how it feels. Is that a true statement ? are there any strong feeling out there as to why you made the choice ? I would certainly appreciate any guidance.

Thanks for you time and thoughts,
Roger

I personally like the i760. It just feels more solid in your hand. For sure I know i760 supports Windows Mobile 6.1 (upgrade option) but not sure about XV6800, although I think it should.

Thats the problem; they are basically identical units. I think the i760 has a somewhat finer resolution screen and will take a 2gig card vs the 4gig on the 6800 but beyond that ??

It may just come down to how it feels.

There is a freeze on the 760 as of right now. Until about a week ago I had the 760 until I had problems, and much to my surprise, they were not able to replace my 760 with another, but sent me a brand new out of the box 6800.

Although I liked my 760, the 6800 does have an available 6.1 update and is also pro, you can run VZNav on it and everything else is pretty much the same. I also run a 4gb card, others have reported using 6 gb cards.

Hope that helps.
