How to unblock the SIM PIN on Samsung Renown

Unblocking the SIM PIN - Samsung Renown (SCH-u810)

The PIN Unlock Key (PUK) can be used to reset a blocked SIM card and must be obtained from Verizon Wireless before proceeding.

From the CALL VZW SERVICE CENTER FOR "PUK" UNLOCK CODE screen, enter the 8-digit PUK obtained from Verizon Wireless then press OK.
If an invalid PUK is entered too many times, the SIM card will be permanently disabled.
Enter a New PIN Code (4 to 8-digits) then press OK.
Re-enter the New PIN Code then press OK.
