Enabling / disabling / modifying the SIM PIN - Samsung Saga
Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so that it cannot be used until the correct code is entered. If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, a PIN Unlock Key (PUK) must be obtained from Verizon Wireless. Ensure a SIM card is properly inserted and the Network mode is set to International GSM mode.

1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Phone.
   
2. Tap Menu > Options.
   
3. Tap Security. (located at the bottom of the screen).
   

Enabling / disabling the SIM PIN

1. Ensure Require PIN when phone is used is checked / unchecked.
   
2. Enter the current PIN code then tap Enter.
   The default PIN code is 1111.
   

Modifying the SIM PIN

EnsureRequire PIN when phone is used is checked.

1. Tap Change PIN.
   
2. Enter the current PIN code then tap Enter.
   
3. Enter the new PIN code (4 to 8 digits) then tap Enter.
   
4. Re-enter the new PIN code then tap Enter.
   
5. Tap ok.
