Can you archive sms/txt threads to a PC?

I was wondering if there was anyway to archive a txt thread to include all messages to and from the phone. Can one forward via email or archive via USB or Bluetooth to a WORD or .txt document on a PC or something along those lines? I see where you can forward via email a single txt message but I am interested in archiving the entire thread, including "older messages" that are not viewable but still accessible - (they scroll off the Saga's screen as memory allows...) Thanks for any creative ideas!
