Default Samsung SCH-u410 to PC via Bluetooth?

This phone supports bluetooth.

Have purchased and installed a Jabra A320s bluetooth dongle on the PC (running WinXP).

I want to be able to transfer photos, ringtones, and wallpapers between the phone and PC.

I can get as far as each one recognizing the other exists and pairing up, but then what?

I've attempted to install Samsung's PC Studio, but all I get is PC Sync, not the full suite as is shown in their PDF manual. PC Sync just craps out because I don't use the Windows address book.

Tried to load BitPIM also, but it repeatedly can't find the phone.

Is there good documentation anywhere as to how to get phone-to-pc exchange going via bluetooth?

I've found this Verizon Bluetooth Handset Functionality Chart:
http://support.vzw.com/pdf/BT_Chart_Handsets.pdf

For the u410 it lists:

Supported:
Mono Headset (HSP)
Handsfree Kit (HFP)
Serial Port (SPP)
Object Push for vCard (OPP)

NOT supported:
Synching - Phonebook to PC
Synching - Calendar to PC
File Movement (FTP)

So it looks to me that about all this will support via Bluetooth is the use of a handsfree headset. If so, I can't do what I'm looking for via Bluetooth with this phone.

Is there any hope via an appropriate USB cable?

I have the SCH-U410 and the AnyCom USB-200 which allows me to connect the phone to the laptop via Bluetooth. You can use the Object Push for VCard (OPP) to get your contacts into and out of the phone, but Verizon is not as generous with their Bluetooth settings as other providers are so your options are limited.
In case anyone else is reading this thread in the future, pair the phone to the PC and then on the PC open Explorer and browse "My Bluetooth Places". You should see your phone listed there. If you have your contacts stored in MS Outlook you can highlight the contacts in Outlook and then drag and drop them onto the Object Push icon in My Bluetooth Places. Outlook will generate a warning about some other program trying to access your contacts, allow the access for a couple of minutes and you should see that the contacts are going into your phone. There does not seem to be an option to synchronize. I'd plan on always pushing from MS Outlook to the phone. Not certain if the lack of sync is a Samsung issue or a Verizon issue. If there is a version of Samsung's PC Studio that works with the SCH-u410 you might be able to sync.

I too paired my phone to my laptop via Bluetooth and was able to send VCards from Outlook to the phone to load contacts. I also installed BitPim and via some posts I found on it and the u410 I manually set it to the SCH-u470 phone as a workaround until someone adds support for the u410. I then manually selected the COM port that I set up for SPP on my laptop. It still won't detect the phone, but it does seem to work with limited capability. I was able to transfer ringtones both directions, which was the main functionality I was looking for. I tried downloading some pictures I took with my previous SCH-a670. The files transferred but all I got was an icon on the u410 and I couldn't view the image. I'll just have to take new photos. Hope that helps.

I forgot to add in my previous post that I was also able to transfer photos from the phone to my PC using BitPim and Bluetooth.
Last night I further played around with my a670 photos and found they were 640x480 and 96 dpi while the photo from the u410 was 640x480 and 72 dpi. I used Irfanview to change the dpi to 72 on my old a670 photos, transferred them to the phone using BitPim and Bluetooth and they appear just fine now.
