Default Ringtones via Pix method.... need some help...

So, I recently traded my vx8500 (after 3 replacements) for a vx9900. Now I was able to get ringtones onto my chocolate via the pix method, but for some reason i can't get anything to go through for the enV. I've tried both mp3 and m4a versions, at multiple bitrates from 128 all the way down to like 40....

The msg just never arrives. I tried mobile17's uploader as well, and although i got the msg, and there's an attachment icon next to the msg in the inbox, when you go to the msg, theres no attachment.

I do the normal no subject, no body, which worked for the chocolate.

And before I get a bunch of replies suggesting the bitpim method, let me explain, that method isn't an option for me at the moment. No usb cord.

Also, i'm no dope when it comes to ringtones. I've mastered many methods both on Verizon and Sprint. There just seems to be some small detail missing, or they've completely disabled this method server side.

Has anyone been able to send ringtones to a vx9900 recently? If so, what are the SW/HW versions on your phone (found under Settings & Tools > Phone Info) Mine are as follows:

[SW Version]
T99VZ02

[PRL Version]
PRL 50887

[ERI Version]
ERI 4

[Browser Version]
6.2.3.2

[Get It Now Version]
3.1.4.65

[AVR Version]
mVoice 2.15.0

[MMS Version]
L12.11R

[HW Version]
Revision 1.0

[MEID]
0x..... wait did your really think I'd give you that? (please don't send yours, i don't need it, and you don't need the headache)

You might be another victim of Verizon who closed the backdoor on e-mailing the ringtones to their phones.
